“At St. Vrain Community Adult Education adults are studying English and citizenship and their school needs your help.” This statement led off the SVCAE fundraising letter sent out last fall. At this point in the school’s history the enrollment is growing and the students are making progress. Thanks to the individuals who have donated money to the school and those who bought tickets to our fundraiser; “Educate your Palate” a wine-tasting and silent auction event at the Sun Rose Cafe. We would also like to thank all those businesses who supported the silent auction with donations. They made the event even more successful. Additional thanks to all who donated and participated in the recent tour and tea Fundraiser. Special thanks to the Thompson House Inn for their support.

SVCAE provides English instruction, basic skills training and citizenship classes for under-educated and under-served adults in Longmont and surrounding areas. Hundreds of adult students in our area can’t afford tuition and yet they are fully committed to learning English. SVCAE is a program of El Comite and they are our fiscal sponsor. We are eternally grateful for their support and encouragement . Thank-you Longmont for helping the fledgling Community Adult Ed program start to fly. Your continuing support is awe-inspiring.
